Hooper and Whyld give birth date as c1800; Gaige gives c1803. Spinrad gives 'Brian' from The Chess Player. Listed in error as 'Jefferson, B.T.' on Sarah's Morphy contenders page and her Sacrificial Morphy page. A 'Bryant' is listed as a member of the Cercle des Echecs in Paris in 1845, but I suspect this should be 'Bryan, T.' (Le Palamède, 1845, p.135).
