Notes:
Benjamin Milnes Neill used the psuedonym 'Benjamin Milnes'. Di Felice and BrasilBase have 'B.F. Milnes' in the 1911 Anglo-American Cable Match, while Sergeant has 'B.C. Milner' and Forster has 'B.C. Milnes'. It is unlikely that an unknown player with one of these names would be chosen to represent the United States in this international match. It is much more likely that it was Neill. Other events involving 'B. Milnes' (see, for example, the American Chess Bulletin of Jul. 1915, p.131) almost certainly also refer to Neill. The American Chess Bulletin of Jul. 1908 (p.133) has 'B.F. Milnes'.
